“ The lady taking my order was so sweet and patient with me! She was very polite & the food was amazing! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the portions were very filling. I personally got the Salmon Supreme combo (which includes sashimi!) and both the sushi & fish on the side were incredibly good. Additionally, their work stations and counter tops seemed exceptionally clean and well-taken-care-of. Finally, the food was out in less than 5 minutes. I'm not sure if it was prepared fresh or prepped in advance and kept in a fridge of some sort, but as I mentioned previously everything tasted fresh so... Anyways, polite staff, clean, timely, amazing food, and definitely the place to go if you're looking for a bite to eat :-) ”

“ Airports are famous for two things: delayed flights and food that tastes like punishment priced like privilege. Netsui is the rare exception. The presentation is meticulous, the ingredients are genuinely fresh, and the value feels almost suspicious in a terminal where a bottle of water costs more than my first car payment. I travel a lot, and I cannot remember the last time I had airport food that wasn’t either extortion by way of scarcity or just plain bad because they know you have nowhere else to go. Netsui refuses to play that game. This is food I would happily seek out even if it weren’t steps from Gate Whatever. Great portions not loaded with cheap filler like rice and mayo. Calgary Airport should not be charging these folks rent. In fact, they should be modelling every other restaurant here after them. Netsui proves you can serve great food in an airport without holding passengers financially hostage. It is the standout in a sea of mediocrity, and an easy recommend whether you’re flying out or just hungry enough to come here on purpose. ”

“ Fresh, generous poke at a great price Tried Netsui Sushi Grill today and was honestly impressed. I ordered a poke bowl with miso soup, and everything was clearly made fresh. The fish was clean-tasting, the avocado was perfectly ripe, and the portions were generous. What really stood out was the miso soup — it was richer and more balanced than the one I recently had at a sit-down Japanese restaurant in Banff, yet this was noticeably cheaper. For the quality you get, the price here feels more than fair. If you’re looking for a quick Japanese meal that doesn’t feel rushed or low-quality, this place is a solid choice. ”

“ There are so many terrible restaurants at airports, this is not one of them. I’m not sure how much I crave sushi in the mountains but their teppanyaki bowls are awesome. I added avocado to mine as well. Great presentation and tasted great. They also were able to use gluten free soy sauce. Legends! ”

The portions are big and generous and really delicious and the soy sauce is great too! All of the staff working there are very friendly as well!
